Actor Allusion: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 shows Robotnik empowered by the Master Emerald, which envelops him with a green aura and in one instance his eyes even glow green.Ace Pilot: He pilots a vehicle that fires laser bullets and rockets which he uses to try and kill Sonic, and the sequel features him using his classic Eggmobile against Sonic.
